The assignment will give you a chance to show the audience how to do something or how something works Point Value: 60 points Length: The target time for this speech is 5 minutes, with a one-minute grace period in cither direction. Please note that students who violate this time limit will receive a grade reduction. This reduction is 1 point for every 30 secinds over/under the grace period. For example, a student who speaks 6:15 loses I point a student who speaks 6:35 will lose 2 points, etc. Also note that you will be asked to stop if you hit the 7-minute mark Sources: You are required to use a minimum of 1 source for this speech Visual Aids: The use of a visual aid is required for this presentation. Make sure that you pick a topic that will allow for a visual, and be sure to follow the suggestions for their effective use. To get attention of everyone with a time frame of 5 minutes means you have to speak about something they are aware of and also effecting their day to day life

So in my opinion your speach should be about SOCIAL MEDIA ADDICTION and how these social media tech giants are using human psychology against the users

This is a topic can get attention of everyone as they are also knowingly or unknowingly addicted to it

For reference there are many research papers explaining the adverse effects of social media and you can use Netflix Documentary Social dilemma which explain every aspect of social media addiction, Its effect on society, personal life
