Answer #1

Answer: 16 days

Explanation:

Activity - Duration

a - 2

b - 3

c - 5

d - 2

e -1

f - 7

Now we have 3 paths, first we need to calculate the total duration of each path.

Path 1) a -b - f

Total Duration = Duration of Activity A + Duration of Activity B + Duration of Activity F = 2 + 3 + 7 = 12 days

Path 2) a - c -d -f

Total Duration = Duration of Activity A + Duration of Activity C + Duration of Activity D + Duration of Activity F = 2 + 5 + 2 + 7 = 16 days

Path 3) a-c-e-f

Total Duration = Duration of Activity A +Duration of Activity C + Duration of Activity E + Duration of Activity F = 2 + 5 + 1 + 7 = 15 days

Total Duration of Path 2 is the longest one so Path 2 is a critical path.

Days Required to complete the project = Total Duration of Critical Path (Path 2) = 16 days
