After reviewing the Amazon RFP, provide discussion about the benefits being offered by various locations to entice Amazon to make them home for Amazon’s second headquarters. The primary criteria that Amazon is looking for is the locality and especially the site where the second headquarters would be. The locality where Amazon would like to make its second home should be within 40-50 km from the population area and in reach of around 40-45 minutes of an international airport.
The benefits of highly-skilled labor force, availability of resources such as raw materials, labor etc.
There were incentives of tax credits and relocation grants which are seemingly reasonable for accommodating a company of Amazon's stature. In New York, there was $1.2bn of tax credit to provide around 25000 jobs and pay the employees and there was a relocation grant of $65 in Nashville to create 5000 jobs in the Tennessee state.
