Above this diagram represents a molecular mechanism of hormone and cell receptor interactiion and the internal cascade mechanism.A hormone specificly bind to a receptor and, so a specific type of hormone specific type of receptor.

The above elements are lebelled-

  1. Lipid-soluble hormone. (as this hormone passes the cell membrane and directly acts on the nuclear receptor).
  2. Nuclear receptor.(As this receptor is present inside the cell and interact with the lipid-soluble hormone)
  3. gene transcription (as the lipid-soluble hormone is acting on the DNA and gives cellular response)
  4. G-protein complex(as it is very closely attached with the receptor and also contain three sub-domain as the the G-protein contains)
  5. Adenylate cyclase (as this complex is activated by the ATP and it further activates the Protein kinase for cellular response)
  6. cyclic adenosine monophosphate (as it derived from the phosphorylation of of the adenylate cyclase)
  7. Tyrosine kinase (as the growth hormone acts with the tyrosine kinase receptor)
  8. Phosphorylated intracellular protein (the GHR responses by phosphorylating the intracelluar protein after interacting with the GH in response to give cellular response).
