Question

The respiration rate of mealworm beetles is highest as compare to the pea plant and yeast. This is because as plants are immobile and much simpler system, so they do not need to respire as much as insect which is complex and mobile organism. On the other hand, yeast perform fermentation which is a anaerobic fermentation that is very slower as compare to aerobic respiration that take place in plants and animals.
