The messenger RNA formed immediately after transcription is premature. It undergoes RNA processing to get converted into primary RNA transcript. This process in was three steps, capping, tailing and splicing. Once the RNA is processed, it comes out of the nucleus into the cytoplasm through nuclear pore complex.
