What does the variability in the DBH of individual trees tell you about the site it came from?
DBH is shorthand for the diameter of a tree’s trunk measured at breast height.
While there is some variation internationally, the standard method for measuring and reporting tree diameters is quite consistent.
In the U.S., DBH is the diameter of a tree stem measured at 4.5 feet above the ground.
In Canada, Europe, and most of the rest of the world, “metric DBH” is measured at 1.30 meters (4 feet, 3.2 inches).
In Japan and Korea, it’s 1.20 meters, and in New Zealand, it’s 1.40 meters
DBH is used in estimating the amount of timber volume in a single tree or stand of trees utilising the allometric correlation between stem diameter, tree height and timber volume.
It can also be used in the estimation of the age of veteran trees, given that diameter increment is the only "constant non-reversible feature of tree growth"

What are the most common measures of variability? What do they tell you about a frequency distribution?
What does the variance or standard deviation tell you about a population that the mean does not tell you? The mean, median, and mode are three different statistical approaches to describe the middle individual in a population. Explain which of these statistics of location should be used when viewing a histogram ?
What does excited state potential tell you about the pyrylium?
What does gauss law tell you about combined charge?
what does oral tolerance tell you about early exposure to developing tolerance?
What does cumulative area mean? If the cumulative area is about 0.52, what can you tell me about the z-score?
Please can you be specific on what does this imply about the
interpretation of the given interval. As well as how much would 99%
differ from 95% CI.
A 95% confidence interval obtained from a sample of 100 outpatients for the true population mean normal mean systolic blood pressure is given by (114 mmHG, 120 mmHG) . Provide a correct interpretation of this interval. Can you think of other interpretations that would also be correct? This confidence interval came from...
Actin is one of the most evolutionarily conserved proteins. What does this tell you about the structure and function of this protein in eukaryotic cells?
ıb. What does the group of an element tell you about its Lewis dot structure?
You have a mean forecast error of 96.5. What does that tell us about the underlying demand?
