Delaney, who wants his company to represent Krauss for the same three-state area, threatens Davis with bodily harm if he signs the contract with Krauss. Davis, deciding his physical well-being is more important to him than the company, does not sign the contract. What result?

Delaney has committed tortious interference with prospective advantage.

In this context, Delaney has committed a tort because he has intentionally threatened David to cause a physical harm. Although the harm has not taken place still it is a tort as it involves that the intent of Delaney is to cause the harm or atleast make Davis afraid of the same.
