Neuroethics Question: Treatments of the nervous system occupy a unique therapeutic niche, as they have the potential to fundamentally change how we perceive, interact and/or interpret the world. Where would you draw the line for medical interventions altering and/or augmenting nervous system function? How do you assess (or weight) the risks for interventions that can fundamentally alter the mind?

According to me holistic health which includes your physical , mental , emotion and spiritual health is fundamental right every human being now if you see all kind of heath is somehow or directly related to your nervous system. If we talk about nervous system treatment is again a wide term also you need to know when and why you need treatment. a person who goes through these treatment due to any reason like injury , stroke , addiction has full authority whether to seek or not the treatment until unless he is in his senses to decide. The role of medical science is very important in this scenario as they have to do a through study of past and present , behaviour of that individual and never to do or ask something going very furrther as he/she should not feel uncomfortable or disturbed.We can do the assessment by involving closely with the patient and monitoring the negative and positive changes during treatment by not neglecting the smallest changes in the behaviour.
