Option A

X linked dominant traits are more in females than in males because most of the males die from this type of trait due to presence of only one X chromosome. Males require only one dominant mutation to show the trait. They die because they have only one X chromosome, which when mutated becomes non functional, and there is no other X chromosome to substitute its function.

But females require only 1 dominant mutations to show the trait and the severity of disease is less due to presence of 2 X chromosomes. Even if one X chromosome gets mutated, the other X chromosome is still there to function properly.
