Answer #1

1. Human resource is one of the significant functions that an organization needs to undertake to provide sufficient factors of functionality to be able to adhere to the competition their market and industry. The basic premise here is simple, the human resource manages the human capital in a company, making it so that the human capital has sufficient skills, motivation and inclination to perform their part in converting the company's resources to the final products as well as the fact that the human resource of a company sets it apart in terms of differentiation, the service it provides, its consistency with the customers and most importantly the innovation it brings to the functionality of the company.

Their role, therefore, includes recruitment, hiring, training, job enrichment, motivation, manning the required service level while also being able to add value to the strategic plan of the company, partnering with the strategic management of the company to provide a number of different opportunities in the market to be realized by the organization.

2. Factors affecting human resource of a company can be attributed to several internal and external factors such as:

INTERNAL
1. The company's culture, budgetary constraints and strategic outlook.
2. Organizational politics.

EXTERNAL
1. The shift in the political, economic and social factors that affect the company.
2. Social issues and trends that influence the HR plans.
3. Regulatory changes such as labor laws and environmental laws.
4. The geography, especially in case of a global organization has various implications over the functioning of the workforce and therefore the HR management.

3. The process of recruitment is where the function of HRM starts. Based on the specific needs of the company, whenever a position opens up due to turnover or other factors, the HRM has the particular responsibilities to add to the maintenance of the company's functionality.
The process of recruitment starts with advertising for the position the company has open. It may include direct advertisements over social media, local newspapers, etc., or through a third party that specializes in recruitment services.
The process then starts with a job description and analysis to explain the specific requirement of the position and for individuals to see if they are qualified for the post so that the company can mainly clear out a percentage of the candidates that would not prove useful for the position.

The process advances to group based interview, one on one meetings and some companies even conduct a pre-screening process which is based entirely over the use of technology to aid in the process of data analysis. Finally, the selected few are brought in for the final process of selection which is usually conducted by the managers, based on their experience and their understanding of the functions of the company.

The process of recruitment completes with the selection of individuals that the company can then start training.
