The three parts of leadership indicates public, private and personal leadership models. The personal leadership has been considered as the inner level of leadership. On the other hand, private and public leadership are the components of outer leadership.
Personal leadership: personal leadership concern about the leadership skills, beliefs, habits, emotions etc. which indicates the self awareness process. These features are essential for any individual to become a good leader. The personal leadership enhances the know-how skills, develops right attitudes towards others, and enhances the psychological skills.
Private leadership: it is concerned about the one-to-one handling efficiencies of a leader. It also helps to enhance the performance appraisals by any leader. With the help of private leadership leaders can effectively be involved in individual’s selection and motivation.
Public leadership: it is a behavioral aspect of any leader who needs to influence more than two people simultaneously. It also ensures motivation for any team with effective future visions. With the help of public leadership skills leaders can create team spirit and unity.
Steve Jobs is a perfect example of leadership in this tech world who held an appropriate combination of personal, private and public levels of leadership. He had a perfect balance in self behavioral aspects which are necessary for being a good leader.
