Answer #1

The plant absorbs sunlight with the help of chlorophyll which is present in the chloroplast. Chlorophyll absorbs the light energy and converts it into ATP and NADPH. This NADPH and ATP are utilized by the enzyme called RuBisCO (Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase) to fix atmospheric carbon dioxide. Fixed carbon dioxide is reduced into Glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate(G3P). G3P then converted into glucose. So, the energy which was fixed by the chlorophyll is transformed into chemical energy in the form of bond in glucose.

So the two things that light reaction produces is ATP and NADPH.
