Answer #1

There are 2 types of division in human, mitosis and meiosis.

In males ,

The mitosis of cell divides and produce similar cells (2 cells) with same number of chromosomes ie, 46 chromosomes. The primary spermatocyte are diploid cells which is produced as result of mitosis.

This is followed by meosis in which the chromosome is reduced to half. That is at the end of meosis 4 cells are produced which posses 23 chromosome each . First meosis differentiate primary spermatocyte into secondary spermatocytes . The secondary spermatocyte divides by 2 nd meosis to produce 4 spermatids each contain 23 chromosomes. After completing 2 divisions of meosis 4 spermatozoa are formed which fuses with female ova to produce zygote.
