Provide an example of how the Cardiovascular and Respiratory systems respond similarly during an acute bout of aerobic exercise, and an example of how they respond differently during an acute bout of aerobic exercise.
Similarity - Increased respiration and cardiovascular acitivities to supply more oxygen to cells
The cardiovascular system uses both CNS (central nervous system) and local mechanisms to respond to aerobic exercises. Metabolic effect increases delivery of oxygen and the flow of blood to muscles (exercising skeletal muscles). Exercise reduces sympathetic system activites and increases parasympathetic activities. Similarly, breathing increases up to steady state where the supply of oxygen and expulsion of CO2 meets the demands of the exercise.
Difference - Lungs bring oxygen from atmosphere to blood and blood in turn bring oxygen from lungs to tissues.
Cardiovascular system (circulatory system) and respiratory system are 2 systems present in higher eukaryotic organisms, in which the circulatory system exchange gases (oxygen and CO2) between blood and tissues. Respiration (breathing) enables energy to living cells by the movement of oxygen from outside environment to cells and the transport of carbon dioxide (CO2) in reverse direction.

1) Select one stress-hormone and one water-hormone and describe how they change during an acute bout of aerobic exercise. Next, describe how their actions help to provide energy and conserve water, respectively, during exercise. 2) Describe how chronic aerobic training impacts the events at the neuromuscular junction. Does it speed up the transmission of information or slow it down? What effects does this have on performance? What other variables influence these events?
The Use of Medical Terminology of the Endocrine, Cardiovascular, and Respiratory Systems in Medical Reports Select a body system (Endocrine System, Cardiovascular System or the Respiratory System). Create an example of a brief detailed medical note written in SOAP format for your selected body system. S: O: A: P:

The respiratory and cardiovascular systems of vertebrate animals work in tandem to transport oxygen to metabolizing tissues and to eliminate carbon dioxide as a waste gas. Which of the following statements accurately describes how these systems interact for gas exchange? The premise of the question is incorrect. The cardiovascular and respiratory systems are completely independently regulated by the body, so that one does not affect the other The rate of oxygen transport by diffusion across the lungs must generally match...

Describe the difference between respiratory alteration related ventilation versus perfusion. Provide two examples of each alteration. Explain the relationship between fluid balance and electrolyte levels. Pick an electrolyte and provide an example of how a change in fluid levels will affect that electrolyte. Compare and contrast acute renal failure (ARF) with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Provide at least three similarities and three differences. Discuss at least three different types of urinary incontinence, focusing on the underlying causes and possible treatments.
Using "ADIME" model of the nutrition care process, provide one example of how you, as a future health professional, might work with a clinical registered dietitian in an acute or long term care serring during any step of the process?
Identify a company (Apple) that you are familiar with and provide an example of how customers may use this company’s resources or services very differently? How this impacts the company’s managerial decision-making?
Which two major body systems help regulate acid-base balance in the body? Provide an example of how each of these systems accomplishes this task.
