Similarity -  Increased respiration and cardiovascular acitivities to supply more oxygen to cells

The cardiovascular system uses both CNS (central nervous system) and local mechanisms to respond to aerobic exercises. Metabolic effect increases delivery of oxygen and the flow of blood to muscles (exercising skeletal muscles). Exercise reduces sympathetic system activites and increases parasympathetic activities. Similarly, breathing increases up to steady state where the supply of oxygen and expulsion of CO2 meets the demands of the exercise.

Difference - Lungs bring oxygen from atmosphere to blood and blood in turn bring oxygen from lungs to tissues.

Cardiovascular system (circulatory system) and respiratory system are 2 systems present in higher eukaryotic organisms, in which the circulatory system exchange gases (oxygen and CO2) between blood and tissues. Respiration (breathing) enables energy to living cells by the movement of oxygen from outside environment to cells and the transport of carbon dioxide (CO2​​​​​​) in reverse direction.
