Two communication rules that one must follow in his/her family of origin are:
1. Respect each others feeling- Every member in a family is equally important.The communication has to be healthy between members of family as it depicts how well a family a stable.Lack of communication will give rise to an unstable family environment.Each member has to be treat with dignity and care, respect to elders being aware of family ethics and norms.
2.Emotional sensitivity-Being aware of what you are communicating in a family setting.Many a times we have to be aware of analysing the sensitivity of conditions. we cant use harsh words if a person within a family is emotionally unstable at that time we have to show our emotional sensitivity to balance the condition.
The above mentioned rules can affect the interaction pattern of family members to a large extent.When in a family the communication pattern based on respecting an individual feeling will follow the family relations will be healthier.
Emotional sensitivity will bring out any anxiety or distress caused by any external or internal factor.It is very needful to have a sense of emotional sensitivity in family.It helps to better understand the family members.An interaction pattern having emotional sensitivity will also help in making the familial relations more cohesive and emotionally stable.
