2. Gene manipulation using CRISPR-Cas9 technology is a good approach for gene editing and manipulating a change in DNA.
3. It is called as Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic repeats. This is associated with cas9 enzyme that is used to make cuts in the DNA strands.
4. An RNA strand associated with guide RNA element is used to ligate the target DNA sequence and is also associated with binding to the cas9 enzyme.
5. Once, the complex binds to the target DNA site, the sequence is cleaved by cas9 activity and further manipulated.
