The Emirates Telecommunication Corporation or Etisalat was founded in the year 1976 and was Middle East’s first wired and wireless GSM telecommunications provider. They are also credited with being the first to bring 3G, 4G and now the fastest 5G to the Middle East region and some of the African countries. Apart from UAE and other Arab countries, Etisalat has its presence across Africa and Asia in 15 countries with a subscriber base of 141 million users.
They have more than 8 million subscribers. The Etisalat group is one of the world’s leading telecom groups in emerging markets. Etisalat’s current valuation is around 148 Billion AED and its consolidated revenues stand at 52.4 billion AED.
They also have a mobile brand “Swyp” targeting the youth segment in the UAE.
Etisalat was crowned as most valuable brand in the MENA region recently.

Communication by Etisalat Group is spread across multiple forums. This is to provide them a comprehensive view of the company performance, revenues, profits, market status, future roadmap, investments and other potential business developments.
