In the given phylogenetic tree, cyanobacteria will be the outgroup because it is prokaryotic in nature and rest all the other organisms are Eukaryotic in nature.

Chlorophyll is present in all the the organisms shown in the tree. Therefore this character will be shown near the base of the tree.

The plant body is differentiated into root stem and leaves only in land plants. Algae and cyanobacteria are thallophytes.
