Using social networks in the hiring process helps us in finding out eligible candidates without much effort and this also reduced the cost for an interview process . We can just select a few from our social network contacts and do an interview for them to select a person for the job. However this process might be unethical because it will make our process biased and only a category of people would be getting the opportunity to get the job which is not the correct way and this might make the company land in legal trouble. We generally use our networks of people or groups to get details of candidates searching for a job . These might be correct or misleading and also this will not give us exact details. We will come to know the exact details only after meeting the person . These networks might also make use of us for their purpose and might propose wrong candidates for the job . Hence we need to be careful while using social networks for the hiring process.
