Using social security number is considered as a poor identification method as using the today’s advanced technologies the cracking of the code of the social security numbers of person’s is easy and harmful. This causes the identity crisis as well as increase in identity threats. Also, social security number is vulnerable as they are not totally private and algorithms can predict a person’s social security number nowadays. Yes, in my opinion, having a new national ID card solve the problem if the new identity use the advanced data security and confidentiality standards in accordance with the security of the data and enables the easy and efficient and effective Identification of the people, then it will be a problem solver.
