Maslow’s Hierarchy theory is given importance to human needs and human desires. The hierarchy has classified into five segments like self-actualization, esteem needs, social needs, safety needs and psychological needs. The marketers enter with their product to satisfy all the needs in the hierarchy. They should know these needs of the targeted market by using the geographical area, social class and also from the demographics of the society. This can be achieved by using good market research. This hierarchy was developed by Abraham Maslow.
