Consider a compound Ni3( PO4)2 . This compound contain a metal ion nickel. Ni exists in two variable oxidation states namely 0 and +2. Nickel is a transition metal element. So for naming compounds containing metal ion having variable oxidation states Roman numerals are used. To write name first name of metal is written then in parenthesis oxidation state ( or positive charge) is mentioned by Roman numerals and lastly name negatively charged ion or group.
So the name of compound is Nickel(II) phosphate.
Consider a compound Li2SO3 . It contain Li a alkali metal and it shows only one oxidation state i e +1 . Such compounds are named according to nomenclature system of simple ionic compounds. The name of this compound is Lithium sulphite.
I am really confused by naming compounds. The reason I am confused is because some compounds,...
For
this question, I really confused about why a=this thing. Also,
could you please tell me the specific steps of the thing that I
highlighted in a red pen? I really don’t know how to use math to
deal with it. Finally could you tell me how to calculate
Var(3X1),VarX2 and Cov(3X1-X2)? Thanks! Will rate:)

Can some help me solve these? I am confused on where to start. I know in some cases, since there are no arguments, I can use *. Function 3: In this function you must both return a value and modify in-place the input parameter (when needed). The only functions you are allowed to use are range(), len(), append(), insert(), remove(), pop() and the del keyword. • Examples: return value argument value after return ◦ func3([4,-3,7,-5,1]) → [-3,-5] [4,7,1] ◦ func3([4,-3,7,-5,1],...
I am confused as to some properties of solving for DFT and DTFT. I am given a series of x[n] values and have to determine the X[k]. The formula for R[k] is sum[x(n)cos(2pi*k*n/N)], which make sense. However, when I plug the values (1, -1, 1, -1) into the equation, I get zeros across the board. Matlab tell me that at k=2, R[2] should be 4, but the only way that make sense is if the summation is an alternating series....
please explain and show how you got your answer because i am
lost and dont really know how to do this

4. What is used for naming covalent compounds that is not used for lonic compound naes Procedures: 1. Complete Table A "Electron Dot Structures" using the given examples 2. Complete Table B "Physical Properties of lonic Compounds using text book as the reference. 3. Complete Table C "Formulas of lonic Compounds." Determine the oxidation mumber or valence of each ion, then determine the chemical formula so that the compounds have a balance, zero net...

I really confused as to how I am supposed to do bode
approximations?
For the following transfer functions, assume that s-'ω; ω is the angular frequency in radians second. a) Use bode approximations, and plot both magnitude and phase response of the following complex functions Report the bode plots.. b) Use MATLAB or your TI-calculator or any other software package available and plot both magnitude and phase response Compare your simulated results with the bode approximations you got from a)....
I really need some help understaning how system verilog coding works in Cygwin I am a PC user, so I in order to have a linux version or an option to run commands I installed a program called Cygwin. This program currently allows me to run .cpp file and supposedly to run verilog (.v) and systemVerilog (.sv) file, but I am not able to or familiar with how to command call them from Cygwins terminal. I would also like to...
