Discuss the leader - follower relationship you believe YOU should have with followers?

Discuss why you feel those leadership behaviors and or actions are important in YOUR ability to motivate followers.

1	An open professional relationship The relationship should be open and transparent. The follower must be treated like an equal and must be encouraged to share everything professionally. This would help create an environment where the followers would feel valued and recognized.
2	Encouragement The relationship should also allow encouragement to flow both ways. Both the leaders as well as the followers must encourage each other every step of the way. This give and take relationship in turn would help reach the greater goal.
3	A relationship of values It should be a relationship where there are ethical values flowing both ways. Not only the followers would learn from the leader but the leader would learn from the followers as well and give appreciation where due.
