The fourth district court gave is ruling regarding the limitation of the suffering of independent adult children due to the unjust demise of the parent de to use of tobacco.

In the cited case the fourth case gave the judgment that the compensation of $6million to the child who lost her mother is quite a huge sum for her as she was an adult and was not dependent on her mother financially. “The relationship between the mother and daughter was not of the nature that can provide the justification about the extent of compensation is being provided to the plaintiff”.

In my opinion, the plaintiff who is an adult must be given a compensation of $6 million by the tobacco company due to the death of her mother irrespective of her financial dependency or independence on the mother. There would be a strong emotional bond between the mother and daughter and thus it must be a lot of trauma and grief for the daughter due to the death of her mother.
