Answer #1

Families play a major role in shaping child. His ethics, aims, attitudes all accquired from the behavioral changes he/she observed in the society. The way he observed and gain the things depends on his mindset and environmental factors. Families is a like a backbone to child such that whenever he felt unstable he used to talk, share with his parents, here parents plays a role to counsel their child by self, telling him what is right and what our values, ethics teaches us to do or follow. This is what every child has his boundaries that he understands what is good and wrong. These all boundaries of values, ethics are bounded by families which either prevent him from doing any wrong or in negative condition make him to take wrong decisions.

Family system vary from culture to culture like equality between girl and boy. In some culture more attention is paid towards boy while girl has suppressed or seen recessive in every terms and factors. Boy has the maximum chances, opportunities while girl having low or no opportunities to make stand. Earlier and even today in some parts girls are not getting educated they simply focus on marriage and just finished their responsibility towards girl child. In some families only boys are allowed to go out of house, girls remain at home taking parda Or dupatta all day. She can't talk freely in society wth the male candidates. These are all boundaries thoughts are created by family some are right and some are wrong. Since families plays a major role.

Any person suffering from substance use disorder or addiction is due to psychological and physical problems. He/she found himself alone the failure of decision making capability, unaware to decide what is good and wrong for himself. Such persons are aparted from their parents, families they spent very less time with their families. They join and feel comfortable with addicted group or person like him. He was not able to share his problems with parents or we can say that parents are not too focused on their child growth and development.

As a counsellor the client must counsel first about why ,where, how he firstly taken the substance. In company of whom he make courage. What are the courageous factors client have in his environment, neighborhood who make him to take decision to have addicted substance. What makes him to take the substance and why?. Doesn't he feels about his parents about emotions and sensitivity. Counseling must be done to each individual family members to his neighbourer and friends circle, environmental factors etc. After obtaining complete information by counselling of each individual factors a detailed analysis is done. From which minor and major findings are out to which and where treatment is needed. Upon this mandatory interventions are carried out.
