Ans 1) Due to lack of knowledge medical assistant cant able to give proper guidance to the patient, not proper information about the medicines, usage, expiry, medicines dose according to the age which may going to harm to the patient and society.
Ans 2) if i am a medical assistant ,my first priority is towards the society and patient. If i am coming late after a break it reflect that i am not serious with my profession,i am not punctual which may reflect a bad image as a medical assistant and there must be a chances that i will be expel from the post of medical assistant.
Ans 3) Most of the patient need OTC drugs, they are unable to express the proper justification of words. So the medical assistant has the duty to listen there words properly and understand there wording to prescribed the dosage properly . If assistant provide the dosage without improper hearing it may lead to serious adverse event to the patient.
Ans 4) Task In bounds to medical assistant : They may provide OTC( over the counter drug) which may or may not required prescription, they can prescribe low dose NSAIDs for pain and inflammation.
Task in non bounds : they don't have rights to diagnosed the patient, they cant give medicine without prescription( except otc drug) , they don't have rights to prescribed medicine and dose to the patient.
consequences : the patient might be suffer from life threatening event, or may be death. Due to improper diagnosis patient may be suffer from life time disease impairment which are going unable to cure after definite period of time.
Ans 5) If you are unable to the answer the patient question, it reflect your poor attitude . Improper knowledge and experience about the medicine may shows you are not able to handle these profession and you are going to expel from that post.
