Answer)
Disasters and massacres and thus DR or Disaster Recovery plans are very important for the business to survive when a disaster occurs. As part of the disaster recovery planning at a business, there will be a project plan to test the backup systems of the production systems in case of a major hurricane or other security or disastrous issues. Thus, data backup is the process of duplicating the data in the production system of the business to another backup system or storage drive and allows retrieval of the duplicate data post the data loss event. This allows the business to continue even after having a disaster and losing the data.
A backup task can be either automated or manual. For automated backup tasks, you have to set everything at first and then the backup will occur according to the requirements you have set. For manual, you can backup tasks as and when necessary.

The subtasks which comprise of the backup process are:
a) Identify Systems to be Backed Up - Firstly we have to identify the systems whose data has to be backed up. In order to do this, we have to plan and identify systems data to be back up.
b) Select Type of Data to be Backed Up - We have to identify the type of data that is to be backed up and work and plan accordingly.
c) Create Backup Schedules - We can automatically start the backup at a certain time with using backup schedules.
d) Modify Replication Rate Limit - We can limit the resources used during backup or how much data is to be backed up. For online backups, the rate limit is the amount of bandwidth consumed for backing up the data at a specific time.
e) Exclude Files from Backup - We can exclude files from the backup by choosing and making rules.
f) Check Backup Reports - We can check the backup reports and identify the status of successful and unsuccessful backups that occurred in the past, and determine the reason of the failure of backup if any and see other details.
