Q1. What is the role of "Microfilaments, Intermediate filaments, and microtubules" in forming a neuron's shape? Explain each cytoskeleton protein' role.
Q2. Are enzyme written in the product side of a chemical reaction? T/F
Q3: Anabolic process is which of the below?
a. ribosomes catalyze the production of proteins.
b. phospholipid production occurs in the smooth ER
c. the production of a new DNA strand is catalyzed by DNA polymerase.
d. none of the above
e. all of the above
Question 1
Microfilaments
Microfilament play an important role in deciding the shape of the cell and cell movement. Microfilaments play an instrumental role in deciding the shape of neurons so that they could easily perform their function.
Intermediate filaments
These filaments provide help in shaping the structure of neurons so that they could move easily for rapid transmission of information from one part of the body to another.
Microtubules
these are called as the "brain of neuron " because they play an important role in the morphogenesis in the developing brain. The microtubuoes play an important role in changing the neuron shape when they move from one place to another. For example, neurons change their structure, when they build axon, synapse etc.
Question 2
The enzymes are written over the arrow sign that is showing direction of conversion of reactants into products. The left side show reactants and right side show the products. Hence, this is a false statement.
Question 3
Anaboliic processed means synthesizing. It could be phospholipids, nucleic acids and lipids. Therefore, all are the example of anabolic process. Hence, option e is correct.

please answer all that you can 1. You have genetically engineered green fluorescent protein (GFP) containing a KDEL sequence (GFP-KDEL). When GFP-KDEL is expressed in normal human fibroblasts and examined using fluorescence microscopy, the fluorescence appears diffuse across the cytoplasm. How would you explain this observations given that KDEL is supposed to be an ER-specific sorting sequence? A. This engineered GFP would not have a hydrophobic signal sequence to get it into the RER in the first place. B. The...
