Hello, I'm in Ap chem and have a lab due tonight. in the lab we had to determine the mole ratio between cucl2 and na2hpo4 which was 1:1. one of the questions asked whether it mattered if the molarities of the two solutions were the same. during the experiment, we made both the solutions with .5M, but could we still determine the ratio if they were different molarities? please provide an explanation because I'm so confused! thank you.
Solution :-
Reaction equation
CuCl2 + Na2HPO4 ---- > CuHPO4 + 2NaCl
Mole ratio of the reactant with each other is 1 : 1
So in the reaction no matter what concentration we use for each reactant, the mole ratio is remain same because the mole ratio is does not dependent on the molarities of the solutions of reactant.
So we can determine the mole ratio using the different molarities of the solution.

Interpretation of Buffer Preparation and pH measurement Hello! We did an experiment in lab creating buffers using 3 different methods, 1)weak acid + strong base, 2) wake base + strong acid, and 3)weak acid + weak base. The desired pH (and the number used to calculate concentration of components) was 7.5....Solution 1 had pH of 5.9, solution 2 had pH of 7.3 and solution 3 had pH of 7.1 I'm having trouble interpreting these results. Were these pH levels expected?...
can someone help me with this physics Lab Vibrating String

The following questions are from a copper content in brass experiment in my Chem 1 lab class. These are the discussion questions, I would like a little bit of background knowledge on how I may get the answers so I could fully understand. Thank you! The equation for your line has a nonzero y intercept. Beer’s law does not have an analogous term. Explain the discrepancy between your experimental best fit equation and the theoretical Beer’s law equation. 2. Consider...
Purpose: To calculate the amount of AgNO3 present in an unknown solution of water through the process of gravimetric analysis with NaCl. Background: Have you ever had difficulty lathering soap or find that the scum in your shower constantly needs to be removed? These are signs of “hard water.” Soap does not lather well in hard water because metal ions, such as Ca2+, form precipitates, creating “soap scum.” A precipitate is an insoluble compound that forms when soluble ions in...
I have to do lab report and I'm stuck with the discussion only. If someone can help to write it it will be very nice. CHEM 1A Experiment #8: Measuring the Vitamin C Content of Emergen-C™ Objectives: Students will learn how to use a burette. Students will learn how to use the iodine starch indicator system to monitor oxidation/reduction reactions. • Students will learn how to conduct a titration to determine the amount of analyte in an unknown solution. • Students will learn about ascorbic acid's role as a biological reducing agent. Introduction: Vitamin...
For the preparation and standardization of NaOH with KHP im supposed to boil water for 1hr and 30 min to remove CO2....the problem is that if I don't boil it for that long and (30 min) b/c of not enough time but I put the water I boiled for 1/2 hr aproximately into a NaOH bottle with a CO2 absorber and stored it there for a few days. I would assume that I would have to boil the water again...but...
Hello! Could you please write your own four paragraph (5-6 sentences per paragraph) take away or reflection of the below information? Please complete in 24 hours if possible. Thank you! RIS BOHNET THINKS firms are wasting their money on diversity training. The problem is, most programs just don’t work. Rather than run more workshops or try to eradicate the biases that cause discrimination, she says, companies need to redesign their processes to prevent biased choices in the first place. Bohnet...
Can you please explain in simple terms the methods of this experiment? I'm having difficulty visualizing and understanding what is being done. I have copied and pasted some of the text from the article. Thank you! Abstract : Obesity, high-fat diets, and subsequent type 2 diabetes (T2DM) are associated with cognitive impairment. Moreover, T2DM increases the risk of Alzheimer's disease (AD) and leads to abnormal elevation of brain beta-amyloid levels, one of the hallmarks of AD. The psychoactive alkaloid caffeine...
How can we assess whether a project is a success or a

This case presents two phases of a large business transformation project involving the implementation of an ERP system with the aim of creating an integrated company. The case illustrates some of the challenges associated with integration. It also presents the obstacles facing companies that undertake projects involving large information technology projects.
