Please help, thank you. To prepare 250mL of buffer with a final concentration of 1mM EDTA, what volume of a 0.5M EDTA stock solution would be required?

Intial concentrationx intial volume=final concentration X final volume

Therefore, 0.5 M x (X ml)=0.250L* 0.001mol/L

So, 1000 mL 0.5 M contains 0.5 moles.

Therefore ( Xml)= 0.00025/0.5*1000 mL = 0.5 mL, it will be the answer.
