Although there are differences in how cells use GTP v. ATP, there are also similarities between these two molecules. One similarity between GTP and ATP is that:

1) GTP and ATP are stored in the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum

2) GTP and ATP can be used to change the shape of a protein.

3) GTP and ATP donate a phosphate to another target

4) GTP and ATP use simple diffusion to cross membranes.

Answer #1

Answer : Option (3) GTP and ATP donate a phosphate to another target

Explanation : GTP stands for Guanosine Tri Phosphate and ATP stands for Adenosine Tri Phosphate. Both of them donate phosphate group to another target and become GDP and ADP respectively. With subsequent donation of phosphate group, GMP and AMP are formed.
