The American leadership style concentrates more on participative and empowering leadership style. It is a combined version of participative and empowering leadership style. Leaders open up opportunities for subordinates and other employees to apply their cooperation and decision-making. Moreover, the leaders are highly visionary and encourage teams to perform in the competitive market. The leadership qualities in the USA are as follows:

·       Leaders encourage active participation of the members to conduct organizational tasks

·       Leaders welcome subordinates decision in the organizational policymaking

·       Leaders have trustworthiness on employees and use their charisma to bring out the best performance from the employees

·        Leaders are more humane oriented

·       Teamwork structure well defines the leadership style in America

·       Leaders are self-protective

For example- the leadership style of the CEO of Facebook properly defines the combined version of participative and empowering leadership style.

The leadership style in France is completely different from America. Autocratic leadership style is the ultimate form of leadership in France. A chain of command is followed where the CEO or group head stays at on the top. Characteristics of autocratic leadership styles in France are mentioned below:

·       Leaders adopt organizational decision without any participation of subordinates

·       Leaders develop a set of guidelines which is to be followed by the people in the organization

·       Leaders set the organizational rights and wage structure.

For example; Businessman Donald Trump can be considered as a great autocratic.
